What is it for?
In AIESEC we believe that Leadership Development is the fundamental solution to solving the issues we currently have in the world. therefore, we developed a Leadership Development Model that specify qualities and behaviors, that we believe, every leader should have in order to tackle the challenges ahead. In our different exchange programmes (Global Volunteer, Global Entrepreneur and Global Talent) we strive to develop these four fundamental Leadership Qualities in every young person we engage.
How does it work?
As soon as you get accepted to the project, you will have to fill in the Leadership Development Assessment. Throughout one exchange programme with AIESEC, you will have to fill in 2 Leadership Development Assessments:
– The first one before your exchange experience – The LDA Initial
– The second one after your exchange experience – The LDA Exit
Once you’re accepted to the project and you have made up your mind on seizing this opportunity, you should fill in the Leadership Development Survey. For this, you should go to the opportunities.aiesec.org and click on the “Profile” button.
Once you have opened your profile, click on “My Applications” button.
In the “My Applications” section of the “Opportunity Portal”, in the top right corner, click on “Take The LDA Survey” button.
Once you’re done with the LDA, there’s just one last step to take – contact your local AIESEC office, sign the official agreement between you and AIESEC and pay the contract fee.
